WANDA VENTURELLI

Wanda Venturelli utilizes Oils, Sumi and India inks, Pigments, Kiln-formed glass and Sculptural textiles in her bold abstractions large and small. Her inspirations are derived from her interpretations of nature and the connections to her communities.

 

Formally trained in figurative drawing and painting and in plein-air landscape painting, her curiosity and inventiveness has resulted in some unique new processes in her abstract art.

 

A native Californian and a long time Santa Barbara Mesa resident and part-time New Mexican resident, Wanda’s background in architectural design and drafting was honed at the Southern California Institute of Architects (SCI-Arc) in Los Angeles, California. With exhibitions in multiple Santa Barbara fine art institutions, the Mesa Studio Artist Tour is a highlight.
